Android Developers

Please have at least 2 Android Apps as an example of your work. They must work in the Google SDK 2.1 so we can test and view the apps.

We are looking for 10 developers.

Android software developer

Description:

In this key role in MobileRanchers (Division of GoroStudios) mobile division you will work as a member of an Agile development team to design and develop an android application UI on an embedded linux platform.

You will be responsible for creating apps in an ongoing process. We make apps for customers world wide and you will help as a key member of our team.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement graphical user interface in Android/Java

• Integrate Java code with embedded browser

• Communicate with native components through JNI framework

• Control audio/video rendering through application level interfaces

Required Skills:

• Open GL, JNI, embed browser, android, video

• BS/MS EE/CS or equivalent with 3+ years of experience in GUI development and embedded applications.

• Expert in Java, modern C/C++ and JNI, including object-oriented design methodology (patterns, generic programming, etc.)

• Demonstrable experience developing Android applications

• Excellent hands-on knowledge of Linux OS.

• Excellent communication skills in English

• Ability to work independently, willingness to learn new technologies

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
