Joomla Component - Time-slot Bidding

Project: Daily Resource Time-slot Bidding/Auction Component or Script

Project Requirements:

SECURE Joomla Component (and if needed, plugin or module) following Joomla 1.5 MVC Framework.

Front-end display of time-slots for 'resources available' for each day, with button to make bid for each one.

Front-end form for bidding on given resource with STRICT INPUT SANITIZATION regarding security. If your unfamiliar with this, DO NOT BID. Form will collect (Name, City, State/Province, Phone, Email, and Bid Amount)

Cut-off Date for each resource auction bidding time is to be set to 24hrs (globally modifiable) prior to date of resource availability.

Administration: Capability to add/remove/edit Resources available on a daily basis, AND single time basis (selectable between the two)

for each listing

Administration: Capability to review bids placed on each resource (in list) and MANUALLY authorize the winning bid for a selected date, with automatic e-mail confirmation to bidder upon authorization. (email templating with user variables (eg: [Name]) for this is required)

Administration: Capability to block off certain dates for a given resource.

Administration: Capability to e-mail admin/selected users when a bid has been made for a resource time-slot

Administration: Capability to view all winning time-slot bids for all resources in list sortable by dates.

Front-end: must allow customization of CSS for front-end views of the component and follow default template css rules as well (simply adding new rules for specific elements).

Bidder MUST include the text "tennis is fun" in their bid or PM or bid will be ignored.

Project Details:

This component is to help manage time-slots on MULTIPLE tennis courts.

Currently we want to allow people to bid for specific times of day to reserve a given tennis court.

At the moment we want to allow bidding on 1 of two courts for a 7pm time-slot, but as you can see from the above writing we want to allow modification of the number of resources and times. Consider the Resource as the time-slot on a single day for 1 of the courts. Bidding must end 24hours (editable) prior to the date set for the resource being bid upon.

If there is a time period that the courts will not be available, we need to be able to restrict/turn-off bidding for those time periods (block offs).

Freelancer Requirements:

First, you must include the required text stated above in your bid, or your bid will be ignored, this is to rule out freelancers using automated job bidding scripts, or those who simply do not take the time to read the project description before bidding.

Second, you must provide samples of previous work with details and references, references will be checked.

Third, you must speak English and have a good command of English writing, have multiple contact points available (phone, e-mail, skype), and be ready to stay in contact daily with progress reports and ready to make modifications as needed to make sure the component is being developed in the manor needed by the project.

Fourth, again as mentioned above, you must be familiar and use as standard practice a good working knowledge of PHP input Sanitization for form inputs both for front-end and back-end, to prevent sql/code injections.

If your bid is simply a copy past of your profile and has bad English, your bid will be ignored, if your bid consists of a simple response like "I can do it" or "let me do it for you" or "we are the best choice", your bid will be ignored. If your bid does not contain the required text listed above, your bid will be ignored. Again this is to make sure respondents have actually read the job description and to rule out bid spammers.
