Order products in each category based on image type

Looking at each category you will see that there are three types of images:
- normal images
- image that doesn't show the bag, but does show an example of the materials and colors used
- a black "no image"
I need the products sorted so that they always show up in the order above. products with fill images, then products with sample color/material, then product with no image.
This will need to be done in the "position" column under each category. The reason for this is that after products are sorted in this way we will be going back and changeing the order for different categories.
This could be done manually, but will be much easier to do directly in the database. The two tables to update are:
catalog_category_product_index
catalog_category_product
You'll be able to get a list of bags that are missing images by looking at the name of the image in the database associated with that product. All bags that are using a sample image have image names that start with "xxx"
All products that have no image will have an image called "no-image"
You can export the full list of products from Magento, remove all columns but product id, category id, and image. Then use that to build you SQL query to update the database.
