Functional Database script/sub-site

This project is more like a script, actually a section within our site that we'd like to develop. It'll be referred to as "script" from now on. Please read the complete description before you place your bid. The description below focuses on what we'd like to achieve, and some of the tools we'll need within this script. DESCRIPTION: This script is for a community of users who manage an online soccer team. This script will allow users to register and sign up, in order to log in and then type in information about their teams, including all of their players' profiles. Additionally, there is a need of an option to import certain player data as well as statistics from a 3rd party program. So, instead of the user typing manually all the data, he will have the option to just import some of the data. Two main sections (or modes) will exist. The Player section (where people will be able to browse and analyze the database of all players, divided by the player's countries of origin), and a second way to look at all the data, which is by the lists of different teams (allowing people to browse and analyze the different players in the specifi teams, which are divided by country). Some of the major needed functions are a function to check each country's or team's (depending which mode the user is in): a) most expensive players, b) oldest players, c) best player in a certain hability, d)best player for certain position (based on an already existing rating code called SC rating (info will be provided)) - Function to visualize the dream team (combination of the best 11 players in the database independently from their nation), - Function to visualize each nation's dream team (combination of a nation's best 11 players) - Function to visualize a ranking of the strongest/best teams according to SC ratings, or the most expensive teams (according to player $ value) - Function to sort and list the dream teams according to a certain age (under age 18). - Function to check each team's list of trophy (that they type in) and to rank the teams of the database according to their trophies (most successfull teams) -Function to check each team's or player's list of records (that will be imported from a file of that 3rd party program). (example of records: Best/Worst Match; Most goals in match; Highest/Lowest/Average attendance; Most productive striker (total goals); Most efficient striker (avg per match); Most active player (tot number of games) ). When initially typing in the data, the user will have the option to make all data of each player visible or not. And an enable/disable function to allow other users to make an offer to buy a player. This last feature will require a tool of communication. I'd suggest that it would be an automated e-mail being sent to the user telling him that there is an interest from user so and so regarding player so and so. Additionally there should be a link that will allow to send an e-mail to a user manually. This is the basic outline of the idea. To simplify, this will be a database that each user will provide the info for, and the script will provide options to sort, search and list in a variety of ways the database. Visually, there is only the need to provide the flags of the involved countries (as links to each countrie's players or team, depending on which of both sections the user is), and to show a Jersey of a player (depending on what country the player is from he'll have a different Jersey) and to indicate the habilities with balls. (please take a look at the attached file for a sample). All of the images mentioned here already exist, and it's a matter to link them with the database, depending what the user types in.
