I have a oscommerce website - the software is considered oscommerceres version. I need some help with some bugs that are occuring with it.
First - when someone signs up in the login page - everything works fine. But then that customer logs off and then logs back in - the password will not go through. I looked at the database entry for the new customer and the program is recording the password different then what is being entered. And the password retrival is not working as well. It states it is - but no email is sent to the customer. I have tried many different emails to test this and each time - no email. So, the customer is not able to log back in.
Secondly the order system. Ok. So the customer can place an order fine - they can checkout and are sent to Paypal fine to make their payment. But, once the payment is completed they are not sent back to the website. Then when the customer goes back to the website - the order is not recorded into their account. Now, I do receive the Paypal payment, but the customer does not get a receipt or notification of their order. It looks like it didn't go through. And, I am offering downloadable items - so I need for the customer to be able to download their purchase immediately after payment. So they need to at least be able to find their order in their account.
So - I need these two items fixed. Once they are fixed, I need you to tell me exactly what you fixed and how. I need to know the exact coding and php page that was fixed.
