I have scrapers for 2 websites. Both are written in Perl (ActiveState) and need modification. DB is MySQL.
**1st script:** It downloads HTML, parse data using Regular Expressions and saves in database. I want to do the same with RSS feeds that I am currently doing with HTML. It has extra code that should be removed.
**2nd script:** It downloads the data but cannot resume in case of interruption (source website stops responding or internet interruptions, etc...), this needs to be fixed.
Its your choice to modify the current script or write a new one, I don't mind it, if its within the bid price.
I may accept the script in other language than Perl, (for Example Java) you can tell me which language you prefer.
I will provide complete details with screenshots and current script.
Please do not post bid if you are not experienced in writing scraper scripts and regular expressions. Thanks
