Cone of [login to view URL]
$5-500 USD
Paid on delivery
Whould to open a job site, i want to use both [url removed, login to view] and this site. You will get paid when the site opens. Do not bid if you can't do it for that price.
The 'profile' section is almost totally unused - or at least, I see very limited use for it, it should have a much wider skill list, and allow you to mass select skills from this list - my skills make me look like a basic web designer, however I'm more a site coder than graphical artist.
the management interface should be improved as until recently, sessions didn't carry between seperate browser sessions (do now), and should flow better
A forum section - where freelancers can discuss problems, ideas etc would be a good idea too
Upfront billing for projects, i've got bids on about 20 'frozen' projects where it seems the client has simply conacted the freelancer via email and skipped paying Get a Freelancer..
The abuse system for elance is poor - I constantly report abuse of ToS (email posting, quoting $5 for a much more expensive job, to get bid placement)
The fact that the site is setup in a 'bidding war' style is not effective - you'll get everyone undercutting everyone else and end up with unhappy customers, a better approach would be 'There have been 10 bits averaging $X' instead of a detailed list.. same for initial bids - why do other bidders need to see a bid in the first place?
Also would like to see some thing were the buyer could cancel a bid on it!
