Create a music store with the following functionality: This site will handle the buying and selling of music files such as mp3s. It will involve integration to payment processors such as paypal and google checkout, and is expected to be built using a framework such as Symfony, Zend, or Drupal. Some graphics and HTML slicing **WILL BE PROVIDED**. Also we are programmers ourselves so we will be monitoring the project closely. As an alternative to building from the ground up drupal can be used and built on. Please NO OPEN SOURCE E-COMMERCE SOLUTIONS. Also ONLY LAMP solutions NO ASP, NO JSP. here are the exact specifications: **YTBD = Yet To Be Determined. General Summary: This site will facilitate the transaction of music files for a price yet to be determined (YTBD). The site will feature music created by the in-house producers. Simultaneously, independent producers should be able to upload their own music to the site, and offer them for sale. The producers may be charged a subscription fee, YTBD. The independent producers will earn a portion of the revenue, also, YTBD. There needs to be an affiliate program which rewards affiliates for linking customers to the site. Furthermore, people will be able to ask questions to the in-house producers it will be answered by the admin account. There should be a comment system to each file posted, allowing registered users to comment, and talk amongst each other and to rate the song (similar to [login to view URL]'s 5 star system) Brief Overview: • MP3's only. No albums currently being sold. • Music will be broken down into an initial 3 categories • There should be preview list of 5 songs under each category. Each song should be able to be clicked and fully played. • If the category title is clicked, it should open the rest of list of songs in that specific category. • Songs should be able to rated and commented on. • There should be a song description and jpeg thumbnail that can be clicked and enlarged. • An email to/share with a friend link. • The music player should be a video player, similar to youtube's. • Some music will have videos available. If not, the jpeg image will take it's place. • Search box, where users can search by song titles and/or artist. Search should bring up similar/matching words that were typed. • There should be a standard Forum where users can create their own topics, discussions and post there questions. User account creation: • Only registered users can use the forum and rate/comment on music. • When purchasing a song for the first time, the user will given the option to register at the same time by providing a username and password • It is not mandatory to register to purchase songs. • All mp3's will be sold for $.99 • A basic contact us page that can be accessed on the back end.
