196377 PHP Login System

Create a login system for generic website. Must use PHP / MySQL. This system should accept user login input (username and password) to check against a user database (MySQL). Once authenticated, this system should start a user session on the client computer and store that session data in a MySQL table. This session data should have an expiration date that is adjustable in the system. This system should be able to be used on multiple web pages, so it needs to be generic. Generic login form and PHP script page to demonstrate the system is required. ***All portions of the system should be thoroughly documented in-line.*** Installation instructions should also be provided.
