I have great ideas for a freelance website.
I am thinking about this for more than 1 year.
I am a marketeer, not a programmer nor a designer.
I need an excelent php/mysql programmer and and excelent designer.
We will use a ready made script, in case you have one already, even better.
I also have some.
We will need to discuss the one to use and then improve it.
I have a great server reseller account in one of the best server companies in the world, so the website will be properly hosted.
I also have 2 persons, always connected to the internet, that will be able to provide the immediate support that a freelance site needs.
So, bottom line, I will be responsable for all the webmarketing, SEO, ads revenue etc.
You, as a programer or a designer will be responsable for each of those areas.
My two colaborators will reply to emails, answer phones etc.
The ideas i have will create an advanced type of freelance website, so sucess will be achieved.
Needless to say this is not a job for you to bid and expect to earn your money for yout programing and/or designer tasks.
You will be a partner and you will share the profits, that is all.
Profits will be shared in similar parts (30me+40programmer+30designer)
I decided the programmer should receive 10% more. It is a motivation because i really need to find an excellent programmer.
You know, one of those that never says "That is Impossible!" and always says "i need to thing how we are going to do this, and then presents one or two solutions"
If you are this last kind of programmer, very sure of yourself, you are the right person.
Regarding work method, i use a project management platform called dot project, that is very good and allow all partners to be in constant contact and keep track of all the tasks.
Also i have skype and msn, yahoo messenger permanently connected, as well as landline, fax line and mobile phone.
Communication is a key element.
Quality of the work is crutial but there are two other qualities absolutely fundamental: you must be responsable and honest.
I have been online for a while, launching projects, i have contacted many many programmers and designers but i can count with the fingers of my hands the ones i found the have the 3 caractheristics: quality of work, responsable, honest.
Responsable means you keep your promises, show up on time, easy to get in toutch.....and honest..well...everyone knows what honesty is.
This is a long post, so let me close by saying:
I will not answer to posters that clearly show that they did not read the entire post, or that answer in a way that shows no interest in what i am offering.
Finnaly, in terms of "how will it work", in case i choose you:
We will first decide the script we will use.
Then designer will make the new design and integrate it.
The programmer will install a few features. Not all. The better ideas will only be launched after 2 or 3 months of work, when we feel that the partnership is going well.
I will start marketing the website (you can always do the same of course)

A few final notes:
I would like the script to be multilingual. If that shows to be dificult, we will have to install multiple instances of the website so that we can try to achieve markets in more than one country.
For that, i would like to know people with writing and translation skills from several countries that can be interested in this project
The ones that i accept will be the only ones allowed to bid in the writing category while they continue to support the project.
Regarding Marketters:
If you are a good mwebmarketing person, and you can proove it, i am interested, in working with you.
Either the shares are also splitted with you, or you are payed for your work. I will decide this after i see what you can do and after you tell me what you prefer.
