There are 2 parts: corporate site, and ecommerce site. Pls quote separately.
Section 1: Corporate site: Simple enough, an SEO-friendly Wordpress site (let us know if you want to propose another platform, as there is another section to this project)
-for a brick and mortar business
-assume there is an existing layout done on a Photoshop file
-but if you wish to quote for DESIGN, pls quote it seperately
-will link to ecommerce subdomain, but DOES NOT NEED to have same platform as ecommerce section
-7 pages/layouts (about us, articles, product category X listing, product category Y listing, etc etc) Pages to support pics and vid.
-pages must support product listings (eg product category X may have 20 entries/posts, product category Y may have 16 entries/posts, product category Z may have 56 entries/posts. All entries/posts to come with pics, vids, copy)
-search function
-infinite new pages/listings possible
-site to support pics and video for each listing
-newsletter sign-up box
-writing + photography will be provided by us
Section 2: Ecommerce: Pls recommend platform. osCMax? Prestashop? Joomla! + extensions? Affordability and security are key here.
-site to help an EXISTING brick and mortar business sell to customers online
-shopping cart, tallies total price automatically once provided with geographical address
-must be secure!
-suppports traffic from around the world
-supports AT LEAST paypal. More payment options would be nice.
-pages must support product listings (eg product category X may have 20 entries/posts, product category Y may have 16 entries/posts, product category Z may have 56 entries/posts. All entries/posts to come with pics, vids, copy)
-to support pics and copy. Vid support would be great
-User MUST BE able to add/edit listings easily. Unlimited new listings.
