I need a small Script for the Chat System on my Website. The Script should be executed every few seconds and should do the following: 1. Check if there are new entries in the table of chat messages. 2. If there are, reload the chat box to display the new messages or only load the new messages into the chat box. I couldn't figure out whats the best way to solve this problem, so you would be completely free in how you do it. The page containing the chat box shouldn't refresh or anything. It should work like any other chat system. The Chat is build like a Support-Chat, but with different functions. So a User can Chat to one Operator, but an Operator can Chat to all users. The Chat Tabs in the View of the operator are created by a php script out of Database entries. Keep in mind: Due to budget problems, we can't pay you before 25th of Mars. But the payment is guaranteed then.
