I run 7 adult niche fetish membership websites on a dedicated server with each website using Wordpress, AdultVideoScript and Piwigo Gallery. I want to upgrade my dedicated server with a couple of changes. My current server is running Centos with Apache: E3-1230v3 32GB DDR3 Ram 1GBPS Port 1TB Hard Drive My new server I want to be Lighttpd to allow for video seeking and faster loading: E5-1650v3 32GB DDR4 Ram 1GBPS Port 4x 3TB Hard Drives Raid 10 with Hardware Raid Card w/BBU I want the following done on my new server: 1. Make sure the configuration above will be much faster and better for me. 2. Everything put over on the new server and got up and running. 3. Required modules installed for AdultVideoScript. 4. The server does all emails so all this needs to be transferred on to the new server. 5. All the websites currently in /home directory transferred over in to the /var directory so that all the websites are in one place. 6. I think Vhosts will need to be re-configured for above number 5 to work. 7. R1Soft backup needs to be re-configured on my third party to start backing up the new server. 8. Whole job done in 4 days maximum. 9. Anything else that needs to be done to make sure everything is working correctly. If the job is done well then I will use you for all future on-going needs Thank You

Extensive experience of Linux hosting setup, Apache, PHP, mysql, etc. I have been running linux servers for a number of years, and run my own hosting servers on Debian (I'm happy to support Centos too) I'm not that familiar with AdultVideoScript or Piwigo Gallery, but can pick most things up quite quickly. Timescales will largely depend on the size of data to be transferred, size of databases, etc. Will both servers be with the same provider? (Will help with data transfer speed). Are you expecting any downtime during the transfer? Assuming both servers will be available at the same time, so an IP address change is inevitable... Do you have access to DNS to reduce TTL to aid switch over time? I would propose to build and configure the new server, transfer data, setup, etc. test using host records, etc. then once happy do another sync of data, etc. and switch over servers. Likelyhood is it can be completed in 2 to 3 days, providing data transfer is quick, and testing is successful. Switch from Apache to Lighttpd is a big jump - Apache will use ModPHP, etc. Lighttpd will use CGI Main performance gain with Lighttpd is serving static content. Do you have a reason for choosing CentOS and Lighttpd?
