Build a Website - Using Magento, build a theme, and write Magento extensions

Coder required to build a complex website which will be based on Magento. There are a number of Magento extensions which will need to be installed, and a bespoke theme will need to be designed from scratch (as these plugins will not work reliably with non bespoke themes). In addition a few magento extensions / plugins will need to be written to extend functionality of the site. Once the site is complete there is scope for a smartphone app, and periodic updates / enhancements to the site. Given this, a coder is preferred who is comfortable coding websites and not just using templates / content management software. In depth experience of Magento will be required, including how to best utilize its SEO ability, and how to make performance improvements. We have in house designers who will be designing the look and feel of the website, so the coder will need to work alongside our team to achieve the desired outcome. Ideally we are looking for a candidate who is based in the North West of England, as weekly face to face meetings will be needed to help ensure the project is on track and heading in the right direction. In addition, we would prefer the candidate to dedicate their time solely to this project until it is completed, so costs to hire the candidate can be quoted on a monthly basis, and we can set a realistic time frame for completion leading to a realistic budget.
