Configure ownCloud to use s3 as primary storage on Ec2 -- 2

We are AWS Standard Partner, and I'm AWS Certified Solutions Architect, and I'been working with web projects since 2009, including several of them using ownCloud. In our experience the latency to use S3 as a volume in the ec2 instance make the ownCloud installation slow and non ready for production. Instead of s3 usually it's better use AWS EFS (Elastic File System) which is also a storage service, but it's intended to that kind of use cases (like block volume in ec2 instance), and has some advantages. We can help you to make the configuration using EFS, and document this solution.
