Continuation of development of Stock Trading software

Hello. For the past few years, I have been working with a programmer, developing several small applications trading financial markets. However, he has moved on to bigger things, so I am looking for someone to continue where we left off.

We built the applications around an open source application called Tradelink. ([url removed, login to view]). They have created "connectors" which plug into the API of various online brokers, to receive market quotes and data. Our applications connect to Tradelink connectors, to receive market data and allow the execution of trades. Both Tradelink and our applications are written in c#. The applications are not algorithms for automated trading. They are tools to help with manual (human) trading. I attached a screenshot of one of the applications.

The first projects would be small, as there are some bugs that need to be fixed. This is probably a good way to also become familiar with the software. From there, I would like to add new functionality and features to the programs. Eventually, I would like to replace the Tradelink connectors with our own connection directly to the broker, which would result in greater stability and the ability to add more functionality and features.

I realize in the beginning there is a learning curve, to understand how the software works and how it was built. I figure this would be part of the billing for the initial bug fixes. I'm not sure how to put a value on this, but I would be interested to hear your thoughts. For this reason, I didn't put any real numbers in the budget section of this posting, such as min/max, duration etc. Also, while its ideal that someone with at least some experience working with trading applications, its not a requirement. My previous programmer had no experience, but through my help, managed to gain an understanding fairly quickly. I'm willing to answer as many questions as necessary.

I'm looking for someone who:

-has a strong understanding of c#

-speaks good english, to avoid miscommunication

-is willing to develop these applications through a series of continuous small jobs, with potential for bigger ones down the road.

-will likely be in business for at least the next couple years

-is trustworthy and professional

-has a reasonable hourly rate. Cost is important to me, and would be a factor in who I choose.

I am a fair and honest person. I'm easy to work with. I am not overly demanding when it comes to deadlines.

If you are interested, please let me know your thoughts or any questions.
