Project Description

This company is a scaffolding company and currently have a whiteboard full of sticky notes in the office as their calendar. They are wanting to purchase a 70" touch screen monitor instead, and have us develop a calendar for them that can be displayed on that. This program must show the full month (31 columns) and will also have 6 rows (the current jobs) each cell will have approx 11 or 12 sets of data in them (listed below). Ideally we would like to have the actual data but if there is not enough space in each cell then we can have colour coded marks (as that is what they currently do on the sticky notes).

There will definitely need to be a login system and there will need to be 2 levels of access... general and admin. General can view the calendar and admin can add, edit and delete jobs, job details and clients.

The job details:

1. Tender number (text)

2. Address (text)

3. Bay & lift count (text)

4. Site contact & number (text)

5. Whether contacted (yes/no) -> If yes a popup will appear for extra comments to be input

6. On hire date (date)

7. Off hire date (date)

8. Transportation (??)

9. OH&S check (yes/no)

10. Contractor pay (yes/no)

11. Job invoiced? (yes/no)

12. Precision Project Managers Name (text)

At the start of the new month the view will need to change to the next 31 days. There should also be arrows to view past and future months.

And… it must detect a tablet and display only 7 days on tablet and mobiles instead of 31 days. The same thing though – it should automatically rollover on the weeks and should have the option to view past and future weeks.

I think it should be a fairly simple project once broken down.

If you require any more information I would be happy to assist.
