Fix the Attribute and Catalog for existing site.

I have built a website ([url removed, login to view]) which is going to be a clothing store and I need to have Attribute to do the following:
1) Attribute is per products and it is image swatch. For instance color is going to be use for each product, but it will show different pants for the color per product. Currently attribute is globle, and I cannot use the color for another product attribute.
2) Catolog are not showing up on the home page line
3) create a catagory Named "Featured Products" and the products in the "Featured Products" will be showing on the home page
4) on the bottom of the page Show recently viewed products
5) optional make sure it is mobile friendly
