Build an interactive JSON/XML REST API in PHP on Zend Server for IBM i ([login to view URL]) to integrate with existing interactive AS400 RPG JD Edwards World 9.2 programs. Logic remains in the existing programs, this is mostly get/set functionality.
Functions include
* creating new sales orders
* correcting existing sales orders
* reversing existing sales orders
* returning sales orders
* credit notes
* order inquiries
* invoice inquiries
* master item inquiries
* address book inquiries and corrections
* account balance inquiries
* forecasted sales inquiries
* best selling items inquiries
* year on year sales inquiries
The only "non-straight forward" thing about this is that the RPG programs mentioned above exist in 1-4 versions, and which version of these RPG programs to run is dependent on the business units a given user belongs to. Sometimes a user can belong to more than one business unit.
