During my career as a server administrator I've worked in a hosting support company and hence I've worked with number of hosting companies to provide support to there customers. To get a maximum out put from your server you need to optimize your server (Tweaking Apache myql and php.) Also the modules like pagespeed will help us to achieve the same. Just go through my completed tasks and you could realize the way of that I've provided, and you could find couple of projects for the same goal (optimization). I'm having better and keen experience in shared hosting,VPS hosting and dedicated hosting environments. As cPanel and Plesk are the worlds most popular control panels I'm also having excellent experience in both cPanel and Plesk. To be a successful server administrator we need both technical and customer handling skills and I'm sure that I'm having both of these qualities. And time zone is not a problem for a hard-working admin like me. During my career as a server administrator I've to face different kinds of issues and this makes me more powerful and experienced. For this job, I'd suggest you to install this stack: nginx (which is faster and lighter than apache httpd), php-fpm 5.6 (latest, fastest), mariadb (open source and faster than mysql). When you use nginx, you also leverage the best of client caching, which is apache is worse. With PHP 5.6, it comes with zend opcache, which is less buggy and faster than APC. There're many things else to do, but I'll have to take a look for the best solution. Please take a look at my profile, as I have done many Linux optimization project before. Hi, I am an English developer and system admin based in Thailand. That server spec is far more than enough to run a wordpress site, I have much smaller servers running multiple sites without issue. To resolve your issues I will need to run tests to find the root cause of the issue. 1) Extremely high traffic on a busy site. 2) Very inefficient wordpress site or plugins. 3) Unconfigured or badly configured server settings not taking advantage of the resources available. 4) Malware on server using up all resources. So first I will find out which out of these issues are involved, could be more than 1 at play. Then knowing the actual issues, take steps to resolve them. These steps could involve config changes, software changes or additions, software or plugin based caching or fixing inefficient code or malware.

Here is "What I can do"! 1. I will remove APC 2. I will change from native apache with prefork to apache with MPM Worker and change the php handler to FastCGI 3. I will install eAccelerator (very powerfull cache sytem for fastcgi) 4. I will optimize deflate parameters and caching for htaccess In order to tell you more, I will have to know the domain name in order to check it with some tools. Regards
