Can you please provide more details of the microcontrollers to be used? Also, will the software need to initialise the micro(s) i.e. a fully functional program including a main function, or is it only an SPI library that you require? If a full program is required, what other requirements are there - what data is to be communicated and at what intervals?

Hi you haven't specify for wich uCU's you want it! If it is up to me to select I will use Freescale's (now NXP) 9S08 series uCU. Need to know also what data rate will have to manage, from where those data will be received or created, (ie will have to include an external UART port that something external, a device, will feed the data to the uCU's, and leave them to handle them according your requirements)? You're saying about an LCD. I guess the Master uCU will have the LCD management - handling. Is that correct/ What kind of LCD we are talking about, Common character LCD, or a dot matrix LCD? Will it be just for showing text or you want it to create also some form of images, etc forms? Please specify if possible. All firmware done by me will be written in assembly language. This needs to implement SPI communication protocol, so the data can ne transmitted between master and slaves. each micro has to have an address as ID.
