Hi As you can see from my feedbacks I am probably the only moodle expert on the site with more then 7 years moodle experience and a lot moodle related projects already completed. I am a core code contributor and I have a couple of plugins already submitted to moodle plugin list. Regards!

I am Backup and Recovert Level 2 engineer, with more than 5 years of experience on the field. I am also responsible of our company moodle site. (I have been working and troubleshooting moodle for one year and half) Just a week ago I performed the upgrade of our moodle site to 3.1.1+ in our company. All went smooth. I do have a script that performs a backup of my site every day, including the database, and data. (that will take literally a snapshot of the current status of your server including the database, in case something goes wrong you can roll back completely, I have use this several times with success, this will give you the confidence of having a backup of your site), we could even mount this backup in a test server and try the upgrade before doing it in production.
