Build WordPress Website

Greetings, We are looking for an English-speaking freelancer that has experience with WordPress, graphic design and content writing. Our current WordPress website [login to view URL] is dated and a little slow. We are looking to modernize it for a better overall user experience. In addition, the freelancer should also have experience in obtaining high PageSpeed Insight Scores from Google and best practices for SEO. A sand boxed WordPress development environment is available under [login to view URL] (Password: “dev”). We have tentatively chosen our new theme to be OceanWP (We can also purchase premium add-ons for the theme if necessary) and have applied it to the dev environment. This environment will be available, so the freelancer can make changes easily without affecting the live website and allows us to quickly provide feedback. As you can see lots of work needs to be done in order to upgrade the site and make it look good with the new theme. All Images and product images throughout the site are very dated, we want the freelancer to come up with a new images/font images for the pages, products and the store. Use of free images/fonts or purchasing images/fonts is also an option, we tend to like the font based cartoonish looking images for our products like [login to view URL] Requirements: • Update the current site using [login to view URL] theme or provide feedback to why a different theme would be better suited for our website. • Make sure website is responsive and shows well on all devices • Readable/ clean fonts • Integrate logo on site and incorporate logo blue on the website with a modern attractive color scheme. • Keep online store with WooCommerce but update product images. • Product images and feature images are font based/ cartoonish looking (this allows us to maintain the website without having to worry too much about image sizing. For reference see [login to view URL] icons/ images • Integrate explainer video on homepage (same video as currently on the website) • Professional image for main banner (we will source the image) • Keep the same menu/navigation structure as our current site • Open to suggestion for content/ make it look more modern with new theme • Make sure site is optimized for SEO • Implement Calls to action - download & contact us forms (We can provide or do necessary JavaScript hooks just need help making it look good). • All images should also be served in wp2 format through the theme or WP plugin • Keep site search similar and footer similar to existing site, unless you have suggestions for improvement. • We are open to any other suggestions you might have towards making our website better.
