We want to develop a client - server application that will
be able to stream desktop capture and other imaging devices to
the server and chat.
[CLIENT]
Basic settings ( port setting, rtmp (srtmp) server )
Streaming :
1. Desktop ( each screen if many as seperate if possible - without capturing our basic windows)
stream with compression eg. zlib, also stream only if the image changed or any region changed.
2. Stream Usb devices ( eg. camera 1 as stream1, cam2 as stream2 etc.)
3. Ability for server to control through the signaling channel ( that will be used for chat also ) the streams eg. Desktop on / off ( audio - video on / off ), Cam1 (audio - video on / off ) etc.
4. Display remote stream(s) to a window
[SERVER]
The opposite:
1. View desktop,
2. Ability to select remote view streams
3. View selected remote devices to separate windows or in the same (ability to change size),
4. Chat through chat window,
5. Ability to record incoming and outgoing streams to files.
Suggestions are always welcome.
