custom extension for Virtuemart and Joomla

Yes I have read your project specification and i understand that you want ability to import products into virtuemart as these products you have exported from your accounting software. And there is 12000 products for now in file with columns product name, sku, short description, category, price, qty avail. Ok and we need to import in Virtuemart products and there is already the products is available then simply we need to update stock and price and if it is new product then we need to create new entry of that product.. ok i got the point. Ok we will create custom extension at backend, and from there you simply need to upload the file when you want to upload products from your software to website, and it will do the executions of update and add new products. and yes what file format you have as exported from software ? if it is csv then it would be better to reading file and importing on website. hello I am expert in joomla and virtuemart and having deeply knowledge of whole flow of those. so as per you explain your requirement i mention here some doubts please clear me this first. 1) may i make one custom component page from there you upload csv file which you import from you account software ? 2) in import functionality we check if those product is exist then we update that product stock, price and category right? 3) if product is not exist then we add product ? or make list of those product info and show you after import process done?
