I have a startup idea and need help developping a Minimal Viable Product. My concept is an Online Service Market and will include things like:
- Customer Account Creation-Login-Authentication.
- Seller Account Creation-Login-Authentication.
- Allowing the Seller to list and control the price of his Services being sold.
- Rating of transaction by Customer.
- Geolocalisation, integration of a Map API, calculating distances (initially Canada/US at a minimum).
- Managing Transactions, ideally offering many payment options.
- Keeping track of basic web page analytics in order to help further improve the concept.
- Collecting transaction data to facilitate business management.
- There is also potentially the need for a small phone App to warn the seller of a service request, informing him of the details and having him acknowledge.
I have basic skills in Ruby on Rails and I would prefer if Rails could play a key part in the project. This can be discussed however if Rails is not the best approach.
I am looking for someone who can set my project on strong foundations on which I will be able to grow. I'd rather start with someone who has great database, programming skills and then work on the esthetics / front end later with someone else if needed.
