I need to basically develop an optical communication link, that will take 16, 64 and 256 bit QAM CDMA signal (please note CDMA!) and then upconvert it to 60GHZ passband frequency, and then send over to optical fibers, and upon reception by a Photodetector PIN, it will perform demodulation to extract the original transmitted bits and show how BER varies with 16, 64 and 256 bit CDMA QAM signal/different bit rates. Eye diagram, constellation diagram also needs to be assessed. Optical power meters, oscilloscope visualisers and optical spectrum analyzer needs to be used at signal sensitive points. The project should also show that how BER varies with different length optical fibers (50km, 75 km, 1000 km, etc)

Hello! I read the project description and I think I might be a good candidate for it. I would need additional details for the project design, and it would be very helpful if you could point me to additional literature. More
