Make sure woo commerce works properly

I already installed my woocomerce plug in, added some products all I need is to make sure it works properly - you may have to set up some categories so I can hide the products easily. This is for a catering company and I need to be able to rotate my menus on a weekly basis (and prevent me from forgetting to update) otherwise clients may order a meal from previous week and that would cause me trouble.
It's very easy but needs attention to detail and I want to finish this in no more than a week from hiring.
