Monitoring of Copyright Violations

- Admin can create user accounts via admin area User Interface: - User can log in - on dashboard, there is a button „Neue Überwachung hinzufügen“ (Add Monitoring) - by clicking on a button, the user gets a form a. User can upload a picture or enter a link leading to a picture b. User can enter a url (with http:// at the beginning) of the site that needs to be tracked for the picture c. User can enter a direct URL on which the picture is shown on the website - by pressing a button „Unterlassungserklärung jetzt überwachen“ (Monitor now), the following happens: a. the link to the picture or the serverpath of the uploaded picture is saved in a DB table „pictures“ b. the link of the site to be tracked is saved in the DB table „site“ In the Dashboard, user gets a table below the button „Neue Überwachung hinzufügen“, showing the inserted tracking jobs the following way: Picture URL to be tracked Action (here thumbnail of uploaded or linked picture) URL inserted in the form Button „Verstöße anzeigen“ (Show violations) User shall have the option to delete single tracking jobs. By clicking on the button „Verstöße anzeigen“, the following side opens: [Thumbnail of uploaded or linked picture] Überwachung der Direkt-URL (headline) [script checks daily whether the direct URLs send 200 header replies – if yes, the link to the direct URL and a thumbnail of the direct URL oft hat tracking job is displayed here] Fundstellen innerhalb der Webseite (headline) [script determines the mexican hat phash value of the uploaded or linked picture and compares that value with the Mexican hat value of the images of DB table pagesimagefound (here, the Mexican hat is already calculated) Connection of the tables Pageimagesfound is linked to pages via the page_id; pages is linked to site via the site_id; the site_id can be linked with a job_id If the similarity is higher than a value X, a grid is displayed, showing: Thumbnail of the picture uploaded or linked Thumbnail of the found picture of DB table pagesimagesfound Similarity score In case a new usage for a picture to be tracked has been found, user is notified via email: „Für Ihr überwachtes Lichtbild liegt ein möglicher Verstoß gegen eine Unterlassungserklärung vor.
