Approval was just received to integrate a payment platform directly with Shopify itself. This is not an app, this is an actual integration. Here's the situation report: For a pay-with type plugin, we need to have API exposure on Clients's side of things to integrate with, or have Client run a Shopify app "server"... Basically, something to maintain the database of shopify stores that are using the plugin, and authorized to do so, etc... Then the app needs to send customers over to an OAuth2 portal, or login capture portal, when they choose to "Pay with X" They login, Client redirects back to Shopify to say they have a valid account... Shopify sends the plugin the payment info related to their checkout (cart details, account name/id and token from the previous OAuth login)... Plugin then uses that info to trigger the API to process the charge with Client... Client responds that it is paid. Plugin reports it to the shop that it is paid. Done. This is the basics right now of what needs to happen.
