Rebuild of my current WordPress Site with new template

Very important that you read the whole post and understand exactly what I am looking for.
I am doing a complete rebuild of my website [login to view URL] - I want to keep basically the same layout but using a new template that is updated and better for mobile. There is a lot of custom things on the site, see below:
1. User registration and membership with BuddyPress (not a paid registration)
2. Custom Movie Vault Section, with movie reviews and rating system. There are inputs for all parts of the movie and a review section for the site and also a review section for the users with ratings, images, videos, news etc.. for each movie

3. User submission, where a registered user can upload a story, video, audio, photos, etc... (easiest way is to sign up as a member and click here to see what the submission form looks like)

4. Resource section that utilizes a directory plugin called Sabai - I may keep this or use a new directory plugin
I am looking to redo this because the old theme was not very mobile friendly and runs very slow, I want to make this much better with a new template. Also the old template did not utilize wpbakery which the new one does.

I want to keep all my current info in the site, posts, users, resource info etc... I also want to clean up all the unused plugins and stuff to clean up the back-end of this site. I want the pages all rebuilt using wpbakery not just copied from what I have.
I also want to modify the features of buddypress, all the things are not needed, I only need members to be logged in to post their stories, so if you feel something is better then buddypress I am all for it, I will not have a forum or anything like that the users only need access to post, comment on other peoples posts and add movie reviews, they don't need to communicate with each other or have forums, etc... I just want it very simple for the users.
