Small Wordpress Theme Modifications

I have a WP theme that is displaying the wrong "Featured Image" for my course blog posts. I simply need it to display the correct Featured Image that is set inside the WP admin for blog posts.
I also need the image to display at the proper height/width without stretching the image.
