Stop Wordpress replacing '&' with '#038'

I have a Wordpress site that uses Javascript code snippets embedded within the blog posts to deliver dynamic, real time content. Since updating the Wordpress core, my Javascript snippets have stopped working. I have traced this back to WP rewriting the JS code and substituting '&' with '#038' within the URL.

Within the source, you will see this snippet of JS:
<script src="[login to view URL];unit=sov&cur=usd"></script>
Which should actually be:
<script src="[login to view URL]"></script>
I need a fix to this that isn't going to be overwritten if/when Wordpress is next updated.
