Brief Description of Project: We need a developer to take our version 1.7.0.2 Magento store that has custom code written directly into it, and upgrade it to a current version 2.x store where all of the custom code is rewritten and turned into updateable Magento modules. We also need this developer to show me how and where it is implemented once finished. More Specific Specifications: Our Magento site currently is version 1.7.0.2 and is built off of previous developers we contracted to build custom modules to handle some aspects for our products that Magento did not handle at the time. We then ran into security issues with the site, and had to shut it down due to not being able to update Magento without the custom code breaking the site. I have no preference for if when updating this custom code, if you find an existing Magento module that has the same functionality, or rewrite/adapt the code from scratch, but I do want your solution to be updatable to new Magento versions without any issues appearing. If you actually read this project spec, please mention the color red in your response or we will not accept or read your bid. I need this developer to make a detailed task list that has their hours and details of the work that they will be doing for this project. I would also like to see a git-style repository to see all of the work that they are committing to ensure work is going at an orderly pace.
