Hello,

I thought upgrading from vb 3.0 to 3.7 would be a breeze as my last update was...of course it has been a nightmere.

Prior to upgrading, the forums had a small bug/issue...the User CP wouldn't come up..it displayed an error. So I thought I'd kill two birds with one stone: A. Upgrade the forums to the current version since it was over a year overdue. B. Fix this error/issue by upgrading.

I backed up the database using cpanel, and tried to restore an earlier version of of the DB to see if this would fix the User CP issue...well all in all, I have followed the upgrade instructions and got many errors. I'm pretty sure 99% if not 100% of the errors are all MySQL related. I know the files are all there and working because using a NEW db I was able to get the forums online fine with 0 member/0 post...I dont want to take a step back to 0 from over 1,100 members and over 345,000 post.

SO you must be fimilar with troubleshooting MySQL errors and working with vBullettin software.

I don't have the biggest budget (about $40) since this is just a hobby site for me, but in addition, I can offer a free 1GB space/50GB BW hosting package for 6-12 months.

PS. I need this to be completed ASAP. In the end, I need version 3.7 of VB working using a restored DB that was created about 6 weeks ago.

Thanks in advance!
