I need to complete and release our ecommerce site.
It's a “headless CMS” with a WordPress PHP backend that uses WooCommerce for the shop side of things. Familiarity with Go and vue.js as well as general WordPress development are ideal.
Some deliverables include:
-Install and manually configure various plugins (Coupon/Gift Card, ShippingCalc, Backorders, Email Before Download)
-Add a newsletter subscriber opt-in (MailChimp fluency a bonus!)
-Optimize and test Mobile and Desktop sites to ensure design, text, and all assets are consistent site-wide and ready for deployment
Some tasks we need figured out in order to push the site live, include:
-Coupons/Gift Card applying at checkout
-ShippingCalc plugin configured
-Confirmation that the Backorders plugin is configured correctly (and products that are set to backorder are shoppable on the front end)
-Install an ‘Email Before Download’ plugin so that we can add a document to a Page that requires people to enter their email address in order to download, and captures email addresses in the backend
-Add a newsletter subscriber opt-in at checkout
-Mobile ‘dynamic footer’ to pop up when you touch it on mobile
-Some text / imagery on mobile site to be tested to ensure consistency site-wide
Aside from a these tasks, from a code/functional standpoint it’s just a matter of changing some configuration and the test domain to the root domain to set it live.
