Wordpress event feed plugin modifications

We have developed a Wordpress plugin to display events from a JSON feed, to show events: [login to view URL] [login to view URL] On the homepage of this site: [login to view URL] We have a menu that loads all of those feeds on the homepage, with a menu to choose which feed is being displayed. (AUSTIN, DALLAS etc.) Additionally users can sort by "RECENTLY ANNOUNCED" or "UPCOMING SHOWS" sorted by the date created or the date of the event, along with a "GRID / LIST" view. We have a few changes that need to be made, that I'm a bit stuck on... and I'm hoping you can help: #1 Some of the functionality gets broken after the feed is changed on the homepage, specifically, the options to choose "UPCOMING SHOWS / RECENTLY ANNOUNCED" and the "GRID / LIST VIEW" options. #2 When the feeds are changed on the homepage, the items load a bit slowly, and then pop in. I'm wondering what kind of smoother loading can be implemented. #3 We'd like to be able to use a link to activate the UPCOMING SHOWS / RECENTLY ANNOUNCED sorting on the feed pages.
