Wordpress form creation - can use plugins start

A brief outline is that, we want to collect Family & Relatives data of users who fill in the forms. The information will be going into a database so that we can supply a list of registered people who have filled out the form. It is a 'Family Tree' style website that will be gathering the exact same information as this websites form here: [login to view URL]

My personal opinion is that the above link is an ugly way of doing things and that we could simplify the design a little to be a bit more user friendly. I think we could create a form that looks nicer.

Another great example of a similar form style is this registration process: [login to view URL]

I like the way the pages scroll left/right when you complete steps and I think this will make it easier for users to work through. If possible I would like to add the same left/right navigation to this part of the website, that will replace those 'portfolio' elements (they are stock theme fillers that will be removed): [login to view URL]

We are developing this site in Wordpress and I was thinking of using this plugin to develop the form and wanted to see if you think it will fit our needs to gather the same information as the link above: [login to view URL]
