We Measure Everything With Respect To Time
Rest and motion are two phenomena with which we experience the world external to ourselves. Both of the states, motion and rest, go void without the concept of time. In fact, there is no measurement of motion without time.
As Albert Enstein once said, time keeps from all things from happening at once; there is no meaning to ‘change' without having time on one mental axis. Since we evolved into what we are after millions of years of evolution, it is impossible for our brains to process anything as timeless.
Basic Physics say, whenever a thing 'changes' its motion- whether it accelerates, decelerates or comes to rest, its change is measured with respect to time.
Speed and Velocity:
Suppose, you start from your doorstep for a clam gentle walk and head to any direction you feel like. Say you cover 10 meters in 1 minute; your speed would be 10 meters per minute. If you increase your pace after 10 meters and cover the next 10 meters in just 20 seconds, your speed would now simply be 10 meters every 20 seconds.
Now imagine a fun scenario where you have to guide your blindfolded friend from one spot to another in a limited time. Your friend starts her journey, you guide her to turn right, and your friend simply obeys. Later you ask her to increase her speed (that is, distance she will cover in any amount of time you measure). Your partner is continuously moving away from her original spot, that is, her position is continuously changin
