Primavera CPWD Schedule Creation

My CPWD construction project is now at the stage where a full programme chart needs to be built in Primavera P6. I already have the complete list of activities, durations and basic sequencing notes; what I need is a professionally structured schedule that puts time management front and centre. Scope • Import my task details into Primavera P6 and create a logically linked network. • Develop the critical path, set a clear baseline, and apply CPWD-appropriate work breakdown structure coding. • Generate an easy-to-read bar (Gantt) view and any supplemental layouts that help monitor slippages. • Highlight key milestones, float and resource-driven risks, even though the primary deliverable is time-focused. Deliverables 1. Primavera P6 .xer file containing the full schedule and baseline. 2. PDF printout (A3 or A1) of the programme chart suitable for CPWD submission. 3. One concise walkthrough note explaining calendar assumptions, constraints and critical path logic. Acceptance Criteria • All provided activities are present, correctly sequenced and free of open ends. • Critical path is clearly identifiable and matches expected site logic. • Schedule passes Primavera’s schedule check (no negative float, reasonable relationships). If you work daily with Primavera P6 and have experience preparing CPWD-compliant schedules, this should be a straightforward assignment.
