I'm undertaking a project in python whereby I need to be able to scrap live odds from a Betting Website.
I need a script that can simply get two classes of data from within a given web-page and store them in a simple python list/dictionary or anything else simple. More specific details will be given later.
Requirements of the script:
- Simple as possible (because I need this to be easily understood and editable by myself in the future).
- Well commented (again as I will want to tweek this it could almost do with being a tutorial so I can understand what parts of the code relate to what in the HTML).
- FAST (needs to read the data quickly straight html rather than using selenium for example).
I can imagine if you know what your doing you could write this simply in an hour or two (however there far harder tasks down the barrel!). This is more of a test for me to see if it's worth getting freelance help on it or just attempting to teach myself how to webscrap.
If a clear & well-commented script is returned I may have far more similar and bigger budget projects on this theme for the chosen developer in the future.
Project Budget: ~£15-30
Feel free to ask any further Qs about this project!

I am now available and can do that. I will use basic HTML parsers. That is not a problem for me. I am interested more in what form of data do you need in an output? CSV?
