Real Estate Operations/BPO Unicorn

This is a unique opportunity for a person with a truly unique skill set. A top residential real estate firm located in the Los Angeles/Beverly Hills area is looking for a special subject matter expert and team leader who can help audit and streamline the company’s day to day and longer-term operations. Details of what we’re looking for are as follows:

• Lead the company’s effort to audit and meticulously document all workflows, processes, and current tools/solutions being used to manage and facilitate day to day business activities

• ID all operations-related delays, “black holes,” and unresolved operational “use cases”

• Discern what is needed to optimize operations across all key business/revenue streams—e.g., searches, listings, inbound referrals, outbound referrals, leasing, investment properties, land sales, etc.

• Create the action plan that leads to a fine-tuned, improved operation, with roles, responsibilities, timing, and cost estimates clearly laid out (either a point “A to point B/1.0 to 2.0” approach, or a phased rollout plan)

• Create the action plan, inclusive of your role as it relates to implementation of the plan (team member vs. advisory services vs. “operations coach/SME,” etc.)

• Requirements:

o Minimum of five years of relevant career experience

o Minimum of one year of operations management or BPO experience for a residential real estate brokerage or agency. DO NOT APPLY IF YOU HAVE NOT BEEN AN OPERATIONS RESOURCE FOR A RESIDENTIAL REAL ESTATE COMPANY (either an in- house employee or consultant)

o Must specifically be familiar and have experience with residential real estate operations in the state of California

o Ability to work remotely, but can also be available for select, in person meetings in the company offices if/when needed (TBD pending confirmation of the audit and planning processes)

o Familiarity with collaborative project/task management solutions, such as Basecamp

o Must understand the intricacies of day-to-day operations within a residential real estate environment (top management, administration, sales team, finance, etc.)

o Ideally, looking for a fixed fee/project fee resource, vs. an hourly or T&M resource

o Confident, effective, and honest resource that can lead the company to a better place, and eliminate operational “black holes,” as it relates to operational inefficiencies and delays
