We are seeking a Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer or Small Embedded Systems Team to extend and integrate an existing commercial embedded firmware platform for a new hardware revision. This is not a greenfield project. The successful candidate will work with an established embedded C firmware platform and will be responsible for understanding the existing architecture, implementing support for new hardware, integrating new functionality, and delivering production-quality firmware. Responsibilities: Review and understand an existing embedded firmware codebase. Develop and integrate firmware for new hardware components. Implement and debug embedded firmware. Work with RTOS-based embedded systems. Develop and maintain communication interfaces including SPI, I²C, UART/RS-422, and Ethernet. Participate in system integration and firmware validation. Use Git for source control.
