Future Trends of Higher Education

PROJECT: Write a 30-45 minute speech (with research) The speech should include future trends in higher education as it relates to, access, enrollment, retention, funding, professorship. In addition, leadership which involve dean, vice presidents, presidents and board members. Also the role of any outside workforce collaborative agencies. WHO I AM: Sterling J. Saddler, Ph.D. is full professor of Educational Leadership and former Dean for the College of Education and Human Services at Western Illinois University. He served as professor and vice president of the Office for Diversity and Inclusion at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and was Founder and Executive Director of the Center for Workforce Development and Occupational Research. He also, served as interim associate dean of the College of Education at UNLV and was chair of the Educational Leadership department. Prior to joining the UNLV faculty in 1998, Dr. Saddler served as Dean of academic affairs at the Center City Business Institute in Syracuse, NY. He is well published in the areas of workforce education and development with an emphasis in leadership, curriculum and dropouts and has secured millions of grant dollars through local, state, regional and federal agencies.
