Hi, Read through the HASH brief. Interesting project. Let me be straight about where I fit. I'm comfortable in the custom ROM world from the user side, I've flashed plenty of open source ROMs, so bootloaders, fastboot, recovery, partition layouts and GSIs aren't new to me. But I'll be honest, I haven't built AOSP from source for a device and taken it to first boot. Device trees, vendor blobs, kernel configs, SELinux policy, that's a different level and I don't want to learn it on your budget when the first milestone is whether the thing boots. Where I'd actually add value: Custom launcher and system apps once there's a working build. Rust components at app and service level, including JNI bridging. Backend and services around the platform. App compatibility testing and fixing what breaks. If this is one contract from bring up all the way through UX, I'm probably not the right fit. If you split it, platform person for the bring up and someone else for launcher, system apps and the Rust work, then that second half is something I'd be genuinely interested in and could move fast on. For the platform side, the LineageOS and postmarketOS maintainer circles are where those people actually are. Might save you some filtering time. Good luck either way.
