We are seeking an experienced SaaS developer to modernize and significantly expand **[login to view URL]**, an existing web-based platform created specifically for Managed Service Providers (“MSPs”). [login to view URL] currently helps MSPs organize, manage, distribute, and obtain acceptance of customer-facing legal and business documents. The next version of the platform will provide a more advanced document-management and workflow environment designed exclusively for MSPs. This is not a simple website redesign. We are looking for a development partner capable of evaluating an existing application, recommending an appropriate architecture, improving the user experience, and building sophisticated SaaS functionality. Primary Project Goal Modernize the existing [login to view URL] platform into a scalable, secure, and intuitive SaaS application that allows MSPs to: * Create, edit, assemble, and manage customer documents; * Obtain legally supportable electronic signatures and acceptance records; * Manage customer-facing workflows through a secure client portal; and * Track document versions, activity, acceptance, and related records. Intended Users The platform will be used exclusively by Managed Service Providers. Each MSP will have its own secure account and environment through which it can manage its employees, customers, documents, quotes, approvals, and workflows. The platform should be designed as a multi-tenant SaaS application with appropriate separation of customer data. Core Functionality 1. PDF Editing and Document Assembly The platform should allow authorized users to: * Upload existing PDF and document files; * Create documents from reusable templates; * Edit designated text, fields, and variables; * Insert customer-specific information into templates; * Add fillable fields, initials, signature fields, checkboxes, and dates; * Generate finalized PDF versions; * Lock finalized documents against unauthorized changes; * Maintain prior document versions; * Download completed documents and document packages; and * Maintain an audit history showing when documents were created, modified, sent, viewed, accepted, or signed. The preferred solution should provide a polished document-building experience without requiring the MSP user to possess technical or PDF-editing expertise. 3. MSP Client Portal Each MSP should have a branded or configurable customer portal. The portal should allow an MSP’s customer to: * Review documents awaiting acceptance; * Electronically sign or accept documents; * View accepted and completed documents; * Download copies; * Review active services and related documents; * Receive notices or messages; * Respond to requests; * Upload requested information or documents; and * View the status of open onboarding or document workflows. The portal should be easy to use on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. 4. Document and Template Management The system should include a centralized document library through which MSPs can: * Store reusable templates; * Categorize documents; * Tag and search documents; * Assign documents to particular services or quote types; * Control which employees may use or modify templates; * Publish revised template versions; * Archive outdated templates; * Determine which customers received each version; * Request acceptance of updated documents; and * Maintain historical records. 5. Dashboard and Reporting The platform should provide dashboards and reporting for items such as: * Documents awaiting signature; * Agreements approaching renewal; * Recent customer activity; * Template usage; * Document versions accepted by each customer; and * User activity. Reports should be exportable where appropriate. 6. Administrative Platform Controls The system should provide platform-level administration functionality for the owner of [login to view URL], including: * MSP account creation and management; * Subscription plan management; * Feature access by subscription level; * User and account activity; * Storage usage; * Account suspension and reactivation; * Administrative access controls; * System announcements; * Audit logs; * Support tools; and * Platform-wide reporting. 7. Integrations We are open to recommendations regarding integrations. Potential integrations may include: * Electronic signature providers; * Payment processors; * CRM and PSA platforms commonly used by MSPs; * Microsoft 365; * Accounting platforms; * Email delivery providers; * Cloud storage providers; and * Identity and authentication platforms. Please identify any proposed third-party products, APIs, licensing fees, transaction charges, or usage-based costs in your response. We prefer not to become unnecessarily dependent on expensive third-party services where equivalent functionality can reasonably be developed or provided through a more cost-effective solution. 8. Security and Technical Expectations Because the platform will store contracts, customer information, pricing, and acceptance records, security is essential. The solution should include: * Secure multi-tenant architecture; * Encryption in transit and at rest; * Strong authentication; * Optional multifactor authentication; * Role-based permissions; * Secure password management; * Audit logging; * Session management; * Secure file storage; * Backup and restoration procedures; * Protection against common web application vulnerabilities; * Secure development practices; * Logging and monitoring; * Privacy-conscious data handling; and * Appropriate separation of each MSP’s information. The selected developer should explain the proposed architecture, hosting environment, database structure, document storage approach, security controls, and backup strategy. 9. Existing Platform Review The selected developer will be expected to review the existing [login to view URL] application and determine: * Which portions of the current platform can be retained; * Which portions should be rewritten; * Whether the existing technology stack is appropriate; * Whether migration to a new architecture is recommended; * How existing users and data will be migrated; * Whether the project should be completed in phases; and * The risks associated with modifying the current platform. We are open to either modernizing the existing application or rebuilding significant portions of it if a rebuild is technically and economically justified. 10. User Experience and Design The application should have a modern, professional, and intuitive interface. The design should be appropriate for business users and should emphasize: * Simplicity; * Clear navigation; * Minimal training requirements; * Professional presentation; * Responsive design; * Accessibility; * Fast performance; and * Consistent workflows. TO see a demo of the current platform, please go to [login to view URL]

❤️❤️❤️ Greetings ❤️❤️❤️ I have carefully reviewed your SaaS platform requirements and understand that this is much more than a UI redesign. The right first step is auditing the existing application and determining what should be retained, modernized, or rebuilt. I am Ozgur Ozbas, a Full-Stack Developer with 10+ years of experience in Laravel, Node.js, React, REST APIs, MySQL/PostgreSQL, authentication, workflow automation, document systems, payment integrations, and scalable web applications. I can help architect the platform as a secure multi-tenant SaaS where each MSP has isolated customers, users, documents, workflows, permissions, storage, and audit history. I can implement the document/template library, PDF assembly and fillable fields, version control, e-signature workflow, branded client portal, dashboards/reporting, subscription controls, notifications, and platform administration. Security would include RBAC, tenant isolation, secure file storage, encryption, audit logging, session controls, backups, and monitoring. I would also evaluate the existing application before recommending a rewrite, including data migration risks and a phased development plan. Q1. What technology stack and database currently power the existing platform? Q2. Do you already have a preferred e-signature provider, or should I compare API-based services versus an in-house signing workflow? Best regards, Ozgur Ozbas

Hi, I understand this project is not a website redesign, but the evolution of an existing SaaS platform into a production-ready solution for Managed Service Providers. The priority is making the platform scalable, secure, and intuitive while carefully evaluating what should be retained versus modernized. I have experience building and modernizing SaaS platforms involving multi-tenant architecture, workflow automation, document management, API integrations, authentication, and secure business applications. Rather than recommending a rebuild upfront, I prefer to evaluate the current platform first and make architecture decisions based on technical and business value. My first step would be reviewing the existing application, data model, user workflows, and infrastructure to identify reusable components and areas that would benefit from modernization. From there, I would prepare a phased roadmap covering document management, client portals, workflow automation, integrations, security hardening, and migration with minimal disruption for existing users. I enjoy taking mature products to the next level, focusing on long-term maintainability, security, and user experience rather than unnecessary complexity. I can work closely with your team to deliver the next generation of MSPTerms through structured milestones.

I’ve architected and deployed multi-tenant SaaS document workflows on .NET Core, PostgreSQL, and Azure Blob Storage, with DocuSign and Stripe integrations. This is right in my wheelhouse—I’ll audit the current stack, migrate to a clean multi-tenant schema in PostgreSQL with row-level security, replace the PDF editor with a headless LibreOffice/PDFBox service for template assembly and versioning, and build the MSP client portal on Blazor WASM for cross-device responsiveness. Authentication will use Auth0 with optional MFA, files encrypted at rest with AES-256, and all audit trails logged to Elasticsearch. I’ll baseline the system with k6 load tests and deploy via Docker in Azure Kubernetes for zero-downtime rollouts. Thanks, Andrii.

Hello, I understand this isn't a website redesign—it's the evolution of an existing platform into a secure, scalable multi-tenant SaaS built specifically for MSPs. The biggest challenge is balancing powerful document and workflow features with a simple experience that business users can adopt without training. My first step would be reviewing the current MSPTerms platform to determine what can be retained, what should be refactored, and whether a phased modernization or partial rebuild offers the best long-term value. From there, I'd design a secure architecture that supports tenant isolation, role-based permissions, document versioning, audit trails, client portals, e-signatures, and future integrations without creating unnecessary dependence on costly third-party services. Security, maintainability, and scalability would be built into the foundation, including encrypted storage, secure authentication, comprehensive audit logging, backup strategies, and an API-first architecture that makes future integrations straightforward. The goal is to deliver more than new features—it's to create a reliable SaaS platform that MSPs can confidently use to manage documents, approvals, and customer workflows as the business grows. I'd be happy to review the current platform and discuss the most practical roadmap before development begins. Best regards, Abror

Hello, i’m Fernando, a senior full‑stack developer with extensive SaaS and multi‑tenant experience. I see that you need a secure, scalable platform where each MSP can manage documents, signatures and workflows without relying on heavy third‑party tools. A key insight is that consolidating PDF editing and version control in a single service reduces latency and simplifies audit trails. My plan is to adopt a micro‑service architecture on AWS using Lambda for PDF processing, API Gateway for tenant isolation, and Aurora Serverless for data. This setup aligns with your security needs, eases future feature expansion, and keeps maintenance straightforward. Recently i rebuilt a legal‑document SaaS for a fintech client, migrating legacy data while introducing tenant‑level encryption and a custom PDF editor. The solution cut processing time by 40% and passed SOC‑2 compliance. Questions: 1. Which electronic‑signature provider do you prefer, or should i design a native signing module? Knowing this will shape the integration effort. 2. Are there any existing user roles or permission matrices that must be preserved during migration? Clarifying this ensures seamless data continuity. I look forward to collaborating and delivering a robust platform tailored for MSPs. Thanks

Hello! Your existing MSPTerms platform already solves a valuable problem, and this next phase requires a scalable SaaS architecture rather than incremental feature additions. I have experience building secure multi-tenant SaaS platforms with advanced document management, workflow automation, role-based permissions, PDF generation, e-signature integration, customer portals, audit logging, and cloud infrastructure. I would first evaluate the current codebase, identify reusable components, design a modular architecture, then implement secure document workflows, version control, client portals, integrations, and deployment with comprehensive documentation to ensure long-term maintainability. I would be happy to discuss the architecture, migration strategy, and implementation approach in more detail.

Bid Rate: $25 USD/hour Estimated Timeline: 14–18 weeks (phased delivery) I reviewed the requirements, and this is much more than a redesign—it's a full SaaS evolution. I've led similar projects involving multi-tenant architectures, secure document management, e-signatures, customer portals, RBAC, audit trails, Stripe integrations, Microsoft 365, and CRM/PSA integrations. My first step would be an architecture assessment of the existing platform to determine what can be retained versus rebuilt. I'd propose a phased roadmap to minimize risk while modernizing the application. For e-signatures, I'd compare providers like DocuSign/Dropbox Sign against custom workflows to balance compliance and long-term costs. The solution would prioritize security, scalability, and an intuitive UX. I'd be happy to review the current codebase and provide a technical modernization plan before development begins.

The $25 budget on a project this deep tells me you're screening for a partner, not buying a finished product at that price. That's smart for something this complex. I've built multi-tenant SaaS platforms with document workflows, role-based access, and client portals. For MSPTerms, I'll start by auditing the existing app to determine what's worth keeping versus rebuilding. From there, I'll architect the multi-tenant data model, the PDF assembly pipeline, and the branded client portal in phases. One thing worth flagging early: for the PDF editing and e-signature piece, most teams default to expensive APIs like DocuSign or Adobe. Best regards, Shayan

Hello, "Multi‑Tenant SaaS Platform With Secure PDF Builder" - modernizing MSPTerms.com. I will use Node.js with Express for the backend and React for the frontend, storing documents in encrypted S3 buckets and metadata in PostgreSQL; this stack scales easily and meets security needs. I delivered a full‑stack web app with PDF generation and user portals here: https://www.freelancer.com/projects/web-design/Classic-Articles-Website-with-Email/reviews. I will design a multi‑tenant data model with role‑based access controls to keep each MSP’s data isolated, and integrate audit logging for every document action. Do you prefer integrating an existing e‑signature service like DocuSign or building a custom signing module? Looking forward to working with you. Artur Giżycki
