I am trying to make a TV media system. I want to make it small at first so this might be an ongoing project in the future. For now you can us any 3rd party program in order to get all the features I want. I should be able to control all TV features with my remote. You can recommend a media card or I can find the one I want and tell you. It need to support a Comcast cable box to be plugged into it and be able to control that. Features: - DVR - Connect to Netflix, blockbuster, and torrents to find movie/ TV shows/music I want. - Nice if it had a full internet radio - *web browser - TV guide - *remote desktop - *network monitoring would be nice - Slip screen, be able to have like web browser and TV open at once. - When dvd put in disk drive it copy’s the dvd to hard drive - Will create a movie/TV shows/ music directories were everything will be saved - Chat program - Pop notification when watching tv ( for finish download/ network monitoring/ chat/ Facebook/ any anything ells need notifications.) - All TV feature ex. sleep *are items that will need a keyboard and mouse as well as remote. This shouldn’t look like an OS but instead one nice TV interfaces kinda like window media center. This should be very user friendly and run good. Any other feature you think would be good I am glad to hear and please ask me any question you may have.
