- Create tables, examples which will fall into one of these categories: person, entity, thing, place, or event.
- Create one-to-many relationships between tables
- From the related tables create queries, forms and reports
- Select subsets of data using multiple tables in queries, and organize this data by sorting, using select criteria, and totals
- Using queries to perform calculations and summarize numbers like counts
- Create data entry forms and forms for searching and updating the database tables
- Finally, create reports which summarize information for users, in a printable or web-publishable format.
