Before you bid, please answer the following question, at the TOP of your proposal.:
Do you have Open Office installed on your machine?
Applications that do not answer this question will go to trash.
I need a macro that retrieves stock price data from Google Finance or Yahoo finance and adds it to a cell in an Open Office Spreadsheet.
The file is attached, in 2 versions.
One is an Open Office 4.1.7 for Mac spreadsheet.
The other is the same file in XLS format.
In cell B3, I want a formula that displays the current price of a stock, in this case ASX:CBA.
A Macro might be required.
The deliverable must be in the format of .ods, .xls, or .xlsx, and must work on Open Office 4.1.71 for Mac.
No Windows solutions, no Excel suggestions.
NO placemarker bids.

Hi,
Yes, I have LibreOffice installed on my laptop. LibreOffice is basically OpenOffice with some extra features.
My name is Ayman Mahran. I'm a programmer and an Android developer. I've dealt with macros before, and I'd be happy to help you. I read your description of the project, and I implemented a macro that fetches stock prices from Yahoo. It's ready and working. Please send me a message to discuss more details. Also, I'm relatively new to Freelancer, so I'd appreciate you considering my offer.
Thanks!
