I just go through your document where I found the program for "TCP/IP Parser". The programs main function is to receive TCP/IP data on computer systems. Operations are there like:- TCP/IP Parser is configured with a listening port and an outgoing IP address and port number for a remote host. On startup TCP/IP Parser opens selected listening port and attempts connections to remote host by opening and closing a remote connection. A status window should display any errors opening listening port or establishing remote connections. TCP/IP Parser continues to monitor for incoming transmissions from the POS Terminal and repeats step 4. The sample of Host Configuration is given. Incoming Transaction Details with the sample are given like The POS Terminal transmits data in raw format via TCP/IP. And all Operation are given in your attached document. I go through it briefly. I faced a problem previously to receive all data through TCP/IP. At the beginning of the program, I start the thread which executes FillBuf method. The problem is that I never receive 1024 bytes for some reason. After some research, I found the solution i.e I should make sure that the server is sending the expected number of bytes or implement some mechanism in my protocol that would allow the sender to indicate at the beginning of the payload the number of bytes it is going to send. This way the client will know how many bytes to read. Ping me for discussion.
